I went through a very hard time with a syndrome called Burning Mouth, for about eight years, and I had to learn this valuable lesson. It seems so easy, but I was falling so short. I loved everyone else before me and would regularly put myself on the back burner with everyone else’s needs in front. I guess moms have a tendency to do this. There was much more to the situation, but this was a huge part of my issue.

Take it from someone who’s had to learn the hard way, love YOU first today. Be kind to yourself. If you have a lot of negative self-talk going on in your head, think about where it’s coming from. Just know, that is not how a loving Heavenly Father would talk to His child. He gives so much love and grace. Someone needs to hear that.
