Easter is my FAVORITE time of year! Hope seems to be everywhere! Excitement is in the air because the weather is warming up. It’s a season when we get to spend more time outside enjoying the beautiful blooms of nature. The BBQ grills are opening, getting ready for the best cookouts ever. The lakes and swimming pools are heating up for fun, splash times in the sun. And to top it all off, we get to plan the most cheerful Easter dinner tablescape for the upcoming festivities.

We want you to knock the ball out of the park at your Easter gathering this year. Let’s crack open these Easter “egg treats” and get a “taste” of those gorgeous Spring tablescape trends on the market.

Cheerful Easter Dinner Tablescape

I love to start building a tablescape around an inspirational piece. For this cheerful Easter dinner table, that piece, or I should say pieces, were the yellow peony floral vases. Those and the beautiful blueish-gray tablecloth were the foundational items for this design.

We then layered in the cream-colored table runner with Easter bunnies staged so sweetly, as well as three woven placemats on top for added texture. The chargers didn’t seem to fit well in every place setting, so this was our next best idea to incorporate a “basket” feel into the design.

I got so excited when I saw the dotted dinner plates at Homegoods. They were shouting Easter to me. LOL!

The water goblets, silver flatware, Easter eggs, cake pedestal, yellow votive holders, and the most beautiful Easter cake were the finishing touches to make this design complete.

While most of the table décor was found at Homegoods, these are pieces that you can find at just about any trendy retail store. To be helpful, we included some close Amazon finds listed below to help you create a similar-looking tablescape.

Pottery Barn is a favorite place of mine to hunt for holiday table décor. It’s a great place to walk through and glean ideas for how to style your home and even your table.

It made my heart grin when spotting one of their Spring table displays in a similar color scheme to our Easter table. Click here to see the details. I love the muted gold candle sticks that were incorporated. This idea is usually saved for Christmas, but because they are dressed in a “yellowy” gold color, they flowed very well with the other bright pieces.

I’m seeing more and more gold, moss, and ceramic bunnies popping up this Easter season. When I saw the cuties on Amazon, my jaw dropped. I LOVE THEM! Just wanted to share! 🐇

How do You Dress a Table for Easter?

Dressing a table for Easter is the perfect opportunity to showcase your style, creativity, and love for your guests. It can be as simple as laying out your favorite white dinnerware, linen napkins, beautiful flatware, water goblets, and a Spring bouquet for the centerpiece.

You can always add in more décor if you want a fuller look, but these basics are the staple pieces you will need to set up a sweet and simple Easter table.

Start with one piece at a time. Iron your tablecloth or table runner to make sure it lays flat and is ready for the beautiful additions. Add the dinnerware, napkins, centerpiece, and accessories. Then layer in a few candle votives and you have an oh-so-lovely Easter dinner tablescape.

Tip- Dress your Easter dinner tablescape about a week before your gathering so you can enjoy it longer and have one less thing to think about as the celebration gets closer.

How do You Make a Centerpiece for Easter?

Creating a centerpiece for the middle of your Easter table can be as simple as adding a beautiful vase with some fresh tulips, or even an Easter dessert, as we did. Here are a few more ideas you can use as inspiration for your Easter table centerpiece.

• Collect 2-3 branches from outside and place them in a cute vessel. Tie faux Easter eggs to the branches for a whimsical look.
• Use a milk jug and fill it with your favorite Spring flowers.
• Place a smaller jar inside a larger hurricane vase. Slide in jelly beans, Cadbury mini eggs, peeps, or other festive candy so that the colorful treats stay in place around the outside portion of the jar. Then, place flowers inside the middle jar and you have a spectacular Easter bunny table centerpiece.
• Place a cluster of long carrots inside a clear glass vase so the green stems are spilling over the top, mimicking a cute Easter plant.
• Create a mini vignette by staging ceramic Easter bunnies on a cake platter or charcuterie board, sitting on top of Easter grasses sprinkled with colorful Cadbury Eggs.
