Hello, sweet friend! Are you looking for beautiful craft room makeover ideas? I’m so excited you stopped by because I have a sneak peek of a craft room/TV room mood board I wanted to share with you. My client, Lisa, had an extra bedroom upstairs that she wanted to transform it into a practical space that served two purposes; a craft room as well as a TV room.

With everyone spending more time at home, we’re seeing a trend in design where people want to maximize their spaces for multiple functions. I’d love to show you how we helped my client, Lisa, create a cozy spot for family movie nights that also doubles as a perfect space for their crafting hobbies, complete with designer style, and functional storage for all their supplies.

Quick Backstory

While brainstorming with Lisa on her combined craft room and TV room, we decided to use these gorgeous TV cabinets for storing craft supplies. These pieces reflect Lisa’s eclectic mid-century modern style and cleverly hide the supplies behind lovely doors.

Lisa’s own couch, featured in the mood board, will be used for the TV room. To stay budget-friendly, we’re utilizing her existing furniture to save a lot of bucks! 😉

The area rug in the mood board offers a fabulous color palette to tie in all the other furniture and décor pieces.

The off-center window in the room has the perfect space on the left for a craft desk. This adorable white desk provides ample storage for crafting supplies and looks charming with hanging spool hooks above it, designating it as the craft station.
