It’s time to take the charcuterie board concept and make it mobile. We are here to pass along the cutest candy charcuterie box ideas so you can easily take your goodies packed on the inside to parties, your neighborhood friends, and even your community. Plus, we will pass along tips on how to create these little boxed masterpieces.
My daughter, Avery, and I took these bundled treats to four local businesses that serve our community so very well. I can’t wait to tell you about it!💕
This post is all about candy charcuterie box ideas. It contains Amazon affiliate links, meaning, I might receive a small commission, but, at no cost to you.
Gatsby Chocolate
I recently had the honor of tasting Gatsby Chocolate for the first time, and may I take a minute to share how AMAZING it was? WOW- so delicious! Doug, who just so happens to be the co-founder of Halo Top ice cream, now has an incredible chocolate bar added to the business mix. The flavors are wonderful, the packaging is gorgeous, and it is the lowest-in-calorie chocolate that you can find. Gatsby chocolates have 75% less sugar, are vegan-friendly, keto-approved, and even come in dairy and gluten-free options. The perfect addition to any candy charcuterie board or box, in my humble opinion.
Candy Box Give-Aways to Our Community
Giving back to others is something that seems to be ingrained in many of our hearts. Don’t you just love to make people smile, share encouragement, and surprise them with something unexpected? It’s soul-filling!
Those sweetheart businesses in our communities work so hard and do this very thing EVERY single day, so we wanted it to be their turn to receive the love.
Randy Miller Homes
Avery and I were so excited to bring a “happy day” treat to the Randy Miller Homes team. I say this with complete honesty and no fluff. They are ALWAYS giving back! I mean, ALWAYS! So, sharing a little blessing with THEM made our day. I’m honored to call them friends.
Randy Miller Homes is the BEST team in the Real Estate market. Excellence is their middle name. Once you let them help you find the perfect home, they will hold your hand through the entire process. Kindness pours out from their hearts daily. Randy, Jennifer, Olivia, Amber, and their other team members, are simply wonderful! Here’s a little shout-out to our new friend, Tanya, from the Clarkston Magazine, whom we met when we stopped by.
If you are in the Metro Detroit area and are looking for a new home, I HIGHLY recommend contacting Randy. Click here to get in touch with his team or visit their website for more information, www.randymillerhomes.com.
Bordine’s Nursery
What a treat it was to pass along a little something to brighten the day of the Clarkston Bordine’s Nursery staff. They work so hard at being a pillar of help in our cities and are so worthy of passing along a gift to make them smile. Thank you, Jessica, for sharing your beautiful smile and representing the team.
Bordine’s is another favorite local business that gives our homes the most amazing trees, plants, and landscape designs. They have been a part of our lives for as long as I can remember and have helped my family with our landscaping needs. If you have plant questions, they have the answers.
Click here to peek at their website or visit one of their four convenient locations. You won’t be disappointed.
The Gateway
Avery and I had the privilege of meeting Shari, a sweetheart working with the flowers, creating daddy-daughter dance boutonnieres, and ramping up for their busiest day of the year, Valentine’s Day. Thank you, Shari, for all that you do, Every Single Day, providing our community with such beautiful pieces. 💕
Joyce was working just as hard in the boutique, serving customers and helping get things organized. It was an honor to meet you both and to put a smile on your faces.
When I think about The Gateway, I get butterflies in my stomach, in the best way. The masterpieces they put together are out of this world. From their floral designs to the products in their boutique, with the cutest displays, they deliver excellence with everything they do.
The next time you need flowers for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, special holiday, dinner party, hospital visit, funeral, or baby’s birth, feel free to give The Gateway a call. They will give you the best quality flowers at the best price. You can also visit their boutique for the most darling gift options.

Yellow Dog Marketplace
When Avery and I stopped by Yellow Dog to say hello and drop off the candy charcuterie box, we met Kristin, who was busy manning ship at the marketplace. She was wonderful and so helpful when sharing about the fun things they do to provide entertainment for the community. Thank you, Kristin and Marla, for blessing our city with the festivities!
Yellow Dog Marketplace is one of the trendiest places to visit in Clarkston. Their boutique is darling. They have so many vendors who have the sweetest displays and amazing pieces for sale. Avery and I loved perusing their gallery.

How to Make a Candy Charcuterie Board (Box)
In light of the boxes that we put together, let’s highlight the staging of candy charcuterie boxes. You can take these same ideas and layer in the sweet treats on a gorgeous board, too.
Here are the steps and BEST tips for how to create one.
- Choose a theme, holiday, or color scheme that you want your candy box to be wrapped around. It was close to Valentine’s day, so we designed our boxes with pinks, purples, and reds.
- Tip– If giving the boxes away to others who might not know you, it’s best to find candy that can be displayed in their individual wrappers. As you can see in the pictures, we decided to stick with this plan. Minus the heart-shaped jelly beans, which were used more like confetti. When choosing the right candies, find wrappers that coordinate with your color scheme so everything has a cohesive look.
- Buy a few extra bags of candy, even beyond what you think you might need. Candy charcuterie boxes are all about, being very well stuffed with no sparse areas. It’s always better to err on the side of caution and get a few extras, just in case you need to layer in more sweet additions.
- Find a cute container to showcase your goodies in. You can use boxes, baskets, decorative containers, platters, coffee mugs, and so much more to create the stage for your candy board masterpiece.
- Don’t forget the stuffing. You want to make sure the candy has something to be propped up on, as well as hold its positioning when placed inside a box or container. You can use colored paper shreds, cellophane, tissue paper, and more.
- Cluster the candy into groupings so everything looks intentionally placed. Try to keep similar colored wrappers away from each other.
- Take cute pictures before you seal up the goodness.
- Embellish with a festive ribbon and a coordinating pendant to take your candy gift boxes the extra mile.

P.S. Note of Encouragement
You matter! Your voice matters! Your dreams matter! All that concerns you matters. The sheer fact that you are here on this planet, for such a time as this, is a beautiful gift. You are here for a reason. We need you to embrace your calling and become all that God has created you to be.
Be brave and step out. Take a leap of faith and do something in your heart. I had to do this very thing when I decided to start my blog. I had so many dreams bottled up in my heart and had no idea how to express them or see wheels put on the visions. We will see how things go, but I am taking a leap of faith as well.
May I encourage you today to be brave and just try? Step out of your comfort zone and explore. It’s in the exploration that you will see dreams manifest. Keep exploring! Keep dreaming! You are here because you matter and so do the dreams in your heart.
